For the program's second academic year, students can count on the support of two exceptional mentors, Franck Giovannini, three-star chef at the Hôtel de Ville restaurant in Crissier, and Vitalie Taittinger, President of Champagne Taittinger.
The MSc Wine & Hospitality, developed jointly by the two schools, both recognized in their respective fields by industry professionals, offers graduates international career opportunities in various areas within the wine and hospitality industries (management positions, business development, consulting, wine tourism, etc.). One year after its creation, it won the Eduniversal Innovation Award in the “wine and gastronomy” category.
During the three-semester program, which combines in-person and distance learning, students will acquire the fundamentals of wine and hospitality, professional excellence, and estate management practices, and will learn to create value through entrepreneurship and project management. Study trips and visits to Europe allow students to compare theory and practice on an international level.
EHL Hospitality Business School and KEDGE Wine School want students in the program to become committed players in the future of the wine and hospitality sectors, to innovate and understand the key factors for success in the current context by developing their management skills and strategic vision. To support them in this endeavor, students will be able to count on the expertise of the two sponsors of the class.
Succeeding Philippe Faure-Brac and Jean-François Piège, Franck Giovannini and Vitalie Taittinger have agreed to become the sponsors of the new class of students in order to share their experience and passion with them and highlight the synergy between the wine industry and the hospitality industry. They already met with the students at the start of the academic year on September 27.
For Jérémy Cukierman, Director of KEDGE Wine School and Master of Wine, "Wine, catering, and hospitality must work hand in hand. These worlds must build the future together. We are very happy to contribute to this great challenge through this program and with our distinguished sponsors."
“Through contact with seasoned experts, this program prepares tomorrow's industry leaders to capitalize on the connections between the worlds of wine and hospitality in order to create innovative solutions and bring unique expertise to life,” adds Stéphane Haddad, Academic Director of the Graduate School within the EHL Group.
