👉 We're back again, as we do every week, to introduce you to an Alumni! This week, we present Grégoire Ponsoye, VP Global Licencies & Analytics at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

🎓 His background

Before that, Grégoire spent three years at Kedge, on the Marseille campus. He was a member of the association Les rencontres Mondaines, whose aim was to canvass and convince outside speakers to come and give talks to students. 🎓

👉At the end of his studies at Kedge, having always had a strong attraction for film studios and the media world in general, Grégoire landed an internship at Canal +, which was his driving force towards the media world. He then landed his first job at Walt Disney in London 🇬🇧, as " Research Analyst Emerging Markets ".

👏 His position at Sony Pictures Entertainment

💼Grégoire currently holds the position of Vice President Global Licensing & Analytics at Sony Pictures Entertainment, still in London, where he has lived for 15 years. He manages distribution deals and financial analyses for film and series rights on on-demand platforms such as Netflix, Amazon and Disney + 🍿

His missions are varied, and include analysis and negotiation projects, while working with the Marketing and Legal departments.

✒️En Alongside his career, Grégoire has been writing a book, combining adventure fiction and personal development. After 4 years' work, the novel Cassairo: L'Essence De L'Apprenti was published in January 2022. His greatest wish now would be for his book to be adapted into a film one day.
