👉You know the drill, every week we introduce you to an Alumni from the KEDGE Alumni network!

This week, we feature Gwendoline Garait-Picon, Campus Coordinator at Disneyland Paris.

🎓His background

🧑‍🎓Après After two years of preparatory classes, Gwendoline entered the Grande Ecole program at KEDGE Business School Marseille , with a focus on communications and events.

Passionate about sport, she was a member of the Kedge basketball and soccer teams.

With her basketball team, they won the Ecricome challenge 2 years in a row, as well as the Coupe de France des Ecoles de Commerce. On the club front, Gwendoline was a member of Pro Act South Wind Days, which organizes a windsurfing competition.

During her gap year, Gwendoline did an internship at Decathlon's Oxylane village . She was in charge of the Village's sporting events. She then spent 1 year on work-study at Airbus Hélicoptère, where she was in charge of communications for new projects in the design office.

💼 Professional experience

After graduating from Kedge, Gwendoline developed her career in sport, first helping to organize the Jeux Nationaux de l'Avenir Handisport as VIP and partner village manager. She then went on to work for a handisport club, then for a handball club on the partner and press relations side. Later, she joined the Valence Twinning Committee in an international spectrum where she was in charge of organizing trips abroad with partner cities ✈️

🎓Wishing to change worlds, Gwendoline turned to school relations, having worked for 4 years in Admissions at an engineering school in Paris. She was in charge of marketing communications for the school (organization of forums, school image, etc.).

✨And now Disneyland

Finally, she joined Disneyland Paris as Campus Coordinator, her current position.

Her missions focus on 2 main areas:

  • On the one hand, creating partnerships and collaborations with schools. This also involves promoting Disneyland's employer brand.
  • Finally, another of her duties is to recruit interns and work-study students for positions at Disneyland Paris (and yes, DisneyLand is recruiting, so go for it!!).
