We're back today with Mélissa COESNON, member of the KEDGEnetwork Alumni👩‍🎓

Mélissa is a yoga teacher, massage therapist and founder of Meliyogis 🧘‍♀️

In this interview, she talks about her career at Kedge and her professional experiences.

After 2 years at Prépa, Mélissa chose KEDGE Business School Bordeaux, where she studied negotiation and international business.

🤝 Associative life was an important part of her curriculum at Kedge, as she was vice-president of Melting Potes, the association whose mission is to welcome international students to the Kedge campus. She was also a member of the Kedge Handball team 🏐

Mélissa completed 3 internships during her studies at Kedge:

• 6 months in the United States as a Sales Representative
• 6 months at Discount in Bordeaux
• 6 months in Australia, as a sales representative for an online beauty products platform.

She has always had this commercial streak in her, and still does today, in her current job.

After Kedge, Mélissa worked for 3 years at PVH, where she was a sales and product manager. Then, no longer wishing to be an employee, she decided to work on her own, which is how she became an auto-entrepreneur, and created Meliyogis in 2020 💪. She now practices massage and yoga, and also works on accounting, communication, canvassing...

According to Mélissa, the biggest advantages of her job are the freedom (because she doesn't have to consult anyone before making a decision), the very flexible hours and the benefit of meeting the people she accompanies on a daily basis 🤩 !
