A graduate of the ISLI Continuing Education program, Adrien Faye looks back on his career, his training at KEDGE and what it has enabled him to achieve in retrospect. It's an inspiring journey, the result of taking a step back thanks to his training.

💼 A PROFESSIONAL LIFE BEFORE RETURNING TO THE CLASSROOM

At the start of the training program, I held the position of National Transport Manager with the "U proximité France" cooperative. U Proximité France is a cooperative with 400 local outlets covering two-thirds of France. The job involved managing distribution activities across the entire network of outlets.

👨‍💻 WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO JOIN OUR ISLI CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM?

During my previous professional experience, I had been an expatriate for 4 years in South Africa. On my return, I wanted to capitalize on this experience and deepen my knowledge acquired during the various projects. ISLI's continuing education program provides a complete supply chain program that leads to certification.

✅ THE ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS OF THIS PROGRAM

The advantages are great in terms of personal knowledge of the global supply chain and its ecosystem. On the professional side, I took over the supply chain management of the U proximity France cooperative. This covers all logistics, transport, procurement and relations with cooperative members.

This development was made possible by the diversity of the skills I acquired.

👉 EXPERIENCES AND MEMORIES

The course was fast-paced, with periods of heavy workload. However, all the teachers were very attentive, which meant that we were well supported during these intense periods. The memories are numerous (group work on video, evenings out after class, etc.).

What impressed me most was the group spirit. Everyone comes with their knowledge and makes sure the whole group benefits. If I had to do it all over again, I'd definitely do it again.

🚀 THE ISLI PROGRAM: A FACTOR IN PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRESS

This course is designed for anyone who wants tomove into the supply chain sector. There is a wide variety of jobs in this field, which makes the training very rich. During the course, we had a wide range of profiles (transport, logistics, procurement) from different structures (world-renowned manufacturers, regional service providers). This richness meant that we all evolved and our visions were challenged. As a result, we all progressed personally and professionally.
