KEDGE graduate Dominique Dufour appointed Prefect of Saône-et-Loire
A career at the service of the State and local authorities
In July 2025, Dominique Dufour, a graduate of KEDGE Business School's Grande École program (class of 1991), was appointed Prefect of Saône-et-Loire by decree on July 23. He officially took office on Monday August 25, 2025.
His first day in Mâcon was marked by several highlights: a welcome at the town hall by Mayor Jean-Patrick Courtois, a wreath-laying ceremony at the Square de la Paix, followed by a meeting with the constituted bodies at the prefecture.

With a long career in public administration, Dominique Dufour has held a wide range of responsibilities in government and local authority departments.
His commitment and expertise have led him to occupy strategic positions, culminating in this new appointment in Saône-et-Loire.
