To begin with, tell us about your educational background: what courses did you take at KEDGE and before arriving at KEDGE?

I began my studies with a BTS in international trade, then quickly became interested in entrepreneurship, so KEDGE was an obvious choice for me. I entered KEDGE in my third year of a bachelor's degree with a specialization in entrepreneurship. I then continued my studies in digital marketing with a focus on entrepreneurship at another school.

Tell us about your career path after completing your studies: what positions have you held? What did you learn from these positions?

As part of a work-study program, I worked for a company that sold dental equipment internationally. I prospected a large number of clients, gave demonstrations, and, above all, converted leads into customers. This experience taught me a lot and helped me mature.

Tell us about your project, which is being incubated by Business Nursery.

Hoppins is a shopping app that brings together independent stores and designers. We offer consumers a product range that is completely different from what they are used to finding on large online platforms. At Hoppins, we promote local consumption and French designers. What are your development goals for the future?
We have a strong presence in the south of France, although we have shops and designers all over France. Our goal is to raise funds this year to accelerate our development and further satisfy our customers.

How did your education at KEDGE Business School help you become an entrepreneur?

My Kedge bachelor's degree specializing in entrepreneurship confirmed my decision to start my own business. It was my first introduction to the entrepreneurial world. The working environment and the people I met on campus gave me very specific feedback on my business creation project.

How does the support offered by the Business Nursery help you in building and developing your project?

We chose the BN for several reasons. First, to be supported by an organization as strong as Kedge. Second, to benefit from professional advice and opinions that guided us in various strategic choices. Finally, for the quality of work and the teams at the BN in Marseille.

If you had to give one piece of advice to KEDGE graduates or students who would like to follow in your footsteps, what would it be?

You need to surround yourself with experienced people, test and retest your product before launching, and above all, quickly find your market to achieve rapid success.
