KEDGE Pro-Act: Meet Alumni Around the World!
Every year, KEDGE students take part in a unique pro-act. In collaboration with KEDGE Alumni, they travel the world to meet the people who make the strength of our network! What if this year, it was your turn?

You may have seen them on social media or in our newsletters: the “fast & curious”-style articles and videos where our students interview alumni—sometimes thousands of kilometers away from home. These engaging and insightful pieces are the result of a collaboration between two entities: students on a pro-act and the KEDGE Alumni team.

The concept is simple:
As part of their pro-act, students design a travel project (to Asia, Europe, America… sometimes all three!) during which they meet alumni living in different regions of the world to interview them about their life abroad. After each interview, the students write up the conversation and produce a video to share these experiences with the KEDGE network (students and alumni). These stories help guide other Kedgers who may be wondering what life is like in Shanghai, Buenos Aires, Singapore, Moscow, or New York!

In 2019, two such projects were launched: KEDGE Alumni Travel and KEDGE Alumni Success.

This year, we want to standardize and better structure these projects to ensure they benefit everyone: more clarity, more quality, and more visibility. That’s why we’re launching a call for projects starting today.

Call for Projects
Are you interested in creating a pro-act where you travel to meet KEDGE alumni living abroad? Here’s how to work closely with the Alumni team.

Where to start?
Before anything else, make sure your project is feasible (time, budget, team). You’ll need to:

  • Define a clear team based on actual needs (no need to travel with 8 people if only 2 are required)
  • Assess the project’s funding (KEDGE Alumni does not subsidize this pro-act)
  • Set your project dates (based on internships, classes, etc.)
  • Define the nature of your pro-act (nomadic or not)

How to apply?
Once the four points above are validated, it’s time to submit your application. We’ve created a form that you must fill out. It covers all the key aspects of your project.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1st
We will select one project per year to ensure optimal support.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 1st

Tips for a successful application:

  • Plan your itinerary based on where our alumni are—not just where you want to travel
  • Don’t apply unless you’re sure your project is viable
  • Enrich your application with videos, visuals, and documents
  • Be proactive: feel free to evolve the concept!
  • Avoid forming an overly large team
  • If in doubt, contact KEDGE Alumni
