This report provides an assessment of the school's actions, organized around the five areas of its CSR commitment (strategy & governance, teaching & training, research, environmental management, social policy). It details KEDGE's ambition to train innovative, ethical and socially responsible entrepreneurs who are well equipped to meet the needs of companies and contribute to their development.

Inclusion and the fight against inequality and discrimination, a major challenge for schools

Committed to the well-being of its community, KEDGE has deployed a social policy organized mainly around three areas of work:

  • Student support,
  • The human development of its employees,
  • Training and supporting future graduates and companies in meeting social challenges.

Building on these pillars, the school has developed a strategic plan for 2025, which prioritizes the issues of disability, gender parity and social inclusion.

The school is also active in its local areas, promoting equal opportunities from secondary school onwards and opening the doors to higher education. This year, 692 middle and high school students were supported by the Equal Opportunity and Cordées de la réussite programs.

A pedagogy that integrates sustainable development and excellent academic research focused on CSR

Through its research, teaching and dynamic student associations, the school prepares future graduates to meet the needs of tomorrow's businesses.

The introduction of compulsory courses in sustainable development over the last few years has enabled us to produce enlightened graduates, since the latest survey shows that 85% of alumni apply responsible management in their jobs.

KEDGE's ambition is to see the know-how of its professors/researchers reflected in teaching, business practices and all economic and social players, to better understand the impact of companies in creating sustainable social, environmental and economic values. Beyond the interdisciplinary research of the center of excellence for sustainable development, 50% of the academic articles produced by the professors-researchers deal with SD&RS topics.

Positive impact actions and an ambitious climate plan

The entire KEDGE community is involved in projects that contribute to the same objective: to train students to act for the good of society and enrich its ecosystems. To encourage and promote these actions, the school has set up KEDGE ImpaKt, a laboratory for positive impact actions, in which a network of referents from the various KEDGE divisions will work together.network of referents from the school's various departments build and deploy the school's CSR strategy.

KEDGE is now recognized for its contribution to modeling the social responsibility of higher education establishments within UN bodies.Sulitest, the CSR knowledge-measurement platform incubated by the school, which is now one of the tools used to monitor the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Environmental performance has been one of KEDGE's top priorities since its climate commitment, signed in Copenhagen in 2009 at the United Nations Climate Change Conference.

Since 2019, the school has had a new climate and biodiversity plan based on the carbon footprint. It is organized around five axes:

  • Energy and buildings,
  • Sustainable mobility,
  • Waste reduction and recovery,
  • Responsible purchasing and green IT,
  • Biodiversity preservation and restoration.

The school also aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030. To make progress in this direction, 9 projects dedicated to environmental management and involving the KEDGE community have been implemented in the territories.
