Right now, we’re all in lockdown. Some are working remotely, others are attending online classes, and some are figuring out new ways to stay busy. Each of us is in a different setting — in a city apartment, a country house, on a balcony, or in a garden. Whether alone, with roommates, or with family, we’re all facing the same situation, each in our own way.

That’s why we’d love to collect your stories during this time! Whether you’re a student or a graduate, share your experience by filming yourself at home or simply recording an audio message. We’ll share your stories as videos and podcasts on the school’s social media channels.

Here are a few topic ideas you can talk about in your video or voice recording:

  • What’s your current situation? (student/graduate, program, professional status)
  • Where are you spending lockdown and with whom? (house/apartment, city/country…)
  • What’s your daily routine during lockdown?
  • How has your way of working/studying changed?
  • What does your workspace look like?
  • What are your hobbies or ways to pass the time?
  • Any tips for coping with the situation?
  • What’s the first thing you’ll do once lockdown ends?

These testimonials will help us draw connections between all members of our community and strengthen our shared bond.

TECHNICAL TIPS
To help you create the best possible video or audio recording, here are some useful tips:

How to film yourself with a smartphone? 📱
➡️ Hold your phone in selfie mode at face level (avoid filming from below), in vertical format.
➡️ Use the best smartphone available to you and the highest quality camera.
➡️ Choose a location with an interesting background — avoid plain or neutral walls. You can film outdoors or indoors with a visually appealing backdrop.
➡️ Avoid backlighting. Position yourself between the light source and the shaded area. Your face should be well-lit (natural light or indoor lighting).
➡️ Frame the shot so your torso and face are visible, with some space above your head.
➡️ Record in the highest quality possible (settings: 4K or 1080p – full HD).

Our team will edit the footage to remove pauses, hesitations, or small mistakes.

How to record your voice with a smartphone? 🎙
➡️ Find a quiet space with no echo — a small room or office is ideal (avoid outdoor settings).
➡️ Use your earphones and a built-in recording app (microphone) to start recording. Speak clearly and stay close to the mic (earphones or internal mic). Avoid speaking too softly or too loudly (to prevent distortion).
➡️ Do a few tests to ensure good audio quality. If you make a mistake, pause and restart the sentence.

Thank you all for your contributions!
