Swiss Life Partners with KEDGE to Support Its Managers Through Business Transformation

KEDGE and Swiss Life, a leading player in insurance and wealth management, have entered into a partnership focused on a dedicated training program for managers. KEDGE Executive Education has designed a tailor-made, distinctive, and certified training program to help Swiss Life managers navigate the company’s transformation and become active participants in their professional development.
Swiss Life France turned to the expertise of KEDGE Executive Education to launch an ambitious, innovative, and certified training program aimed at supporting its directors, department managers, senior managers, and frontline managers in adapting to their evolving roles as drivers of performance.
The rise of digital technologies, new ways of working (agile, cross-functional, collaborative), new management formats (intergenerational and remote), and the introduction of artificial intelligence have reshaped the managerial landscape. Managers must now be equipped to lead their teams effectively in this new environment.
The program kicked off on November 22 with an event bringing together 300 managers from across the company. The training combines modules that mix different categories of managers with modules tailored to each specific group. It is rolled out in three waves: the first cohort began in November 2019, the second in February 2020, and the third in May 2020. In April 2021, all 300 managers will come together again for a major, unifying event to conclude the program.
"Managers are key players in our company’s performance and transformation. Their role is evolving, and each of them must be able to support their teams in their career paths and choices. With its original and innovative approach, our program — called Manager’s Life — offers our managers the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and leadership posture, both for themselves and for the benefit of their teams and colleagues," said Lydia Bataille, HR Director at Swiss Life.
This distinctive and disruptive training program spans 12 months and includes:
- In-person and e-learning sessions
- Conferences
- Collaborative workshops focused on collective intelligence
- Inspirational workshops
The goal of the training is to help managers decode their professional environment, anticipate changes, foster collaboration, and embrace managerial challenges with practical applications for team leadership.
By the end of the program, Swiss Life managers will have strengthened their key leadership skills and earned a recognized certification.
