The KEDGE Alumni Conference in Geneva in images
Our international conference chaired by KEDGE professor Laurent Estachy took place on 20 April in Geneva. This photo recap has been provided by Loïc Morant, KEDGE graduate and Founder of ClapStories.
Organized by our three graduates and Geneva branch coordinators (Tamila Chaouche, Vincent Lefebvre and Lionel Rosnet) and our alumni mission officer (Morgane Samuel), this international KEDGE Alumni conference brought together nearly 30 graduates and staff from the school.
Geopolitics and Carbon Tax at the border 🌍
With the presence of Christophe Mouysset (Director of Corporate Relations and Alumni Network), chaired by Laurent Estachy (Professor of Geo-economics and International Finance) and moderated by Tamila Chaouche (Coordinator of the KEDGE Alumni office in Geneva), This conference gave us an overview of the major geopolitical developments and tensions of the moment, involving in particular the United States, China and the European Union, with an original focus on environmental issues and, more specifically, possible border carbon taxes.
" We were fortunate to be able to organize a wonderful conference on this topical issue. We're delighted to have been able to bring together Swiss graduates around this theme. Laurent Estachy kept us enthralled throughout the evening, supported by very interesting questions from the audience and from Tamila Chaouche, head of the Geneva branch, during the round table discussion.
Some graduates came especially to see one of their favorite teachers again, and I quickly understood the enthusiasm of students and graduates for Mr. Estachy and his courses. The conference was followed by a networking cocktail. We all appreciated the opportunity to meet and catch up with our graduates.
I would like to thank Laurent Estachy and Tamila Chaouche for their involvement throughout the organization of this event. I would also like to thank Christophe Mouysset for agreeing to introduce the conference and for sharing this moment with us. Last but not least, thanks to the Métropole Hotel for its impeccable service. " - Morgane Samuel - Chargé de mission KEDGE Alumni - Pôle antennes.
All photos of the evening are available at the end of the article.
Loïc Morant, graduate and founder of ClapStories 🎥
Present at the conference, Loïc Morant did us the honor of being our photographer for this exceptional evening. It was an opportunity for us to return the favor and introduce you to his passion for video and his video production company ClapStories.
Loïc has always wanted to work in the world of video. He has worked on TV series as an extra or motorcycle double, as well as on corporate and advertising videos.
After his studies at KEDGE, a long stay in Australia and more than 10 years' experience in the world of finance, he decided in 2019 to start a transition to follow his desire to work in a more human-oriented field. This is how he came to train in mental preparation, coaching and hypnosis, with the aim of helping athletes achieve their full potential.
In 2021, one athlete stood out from the crowd. He decided to interview him to share and communicate his story. And there, behind the camera, was the revelation... and the start of his new adventure!
