KEDGE Business School is a non-profit association under the French law of 1901. KEDGE is an institution recognized by the French state, with accredited programs, some of which award Master's and Bachelor's degrees. It holds triple accreditation from AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. Thanks to its private status, it operates autonomously in the service of its students' pedagogy and success.

The school devotes 100% of its resources to its training and research missions, to meet the challenges of French higher education: pedagogical innovation, welcoming and supporting students, social openness, professional integration and the international dimension. It fully fulfills its role as an operator of public research, a role reinforced by the French Research Programming Act.

The French Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Research has just renewed KEDGE's EESPIG qualification for a further 5 years, recognizing its mission of general interest and public utility. The EESPIG qualification aims to clarify the private higher education sector by distinguishing not-for-profit establishments that contribute to public service, deliver diplomas on behalf of the State and are regularly supervised by the public authorities.

In this way, KEDGE presents a training offer, geographical locations, a social policy as well as elements and actions that contribute to the public service missions of higher education and public research.

"KEDGE trains managers who will have an impact on their environment. Through this renewal of our EESPIG qualification, we are delighted that the Ministry, through its recognition of our teaching and research, is encouraging our actions to improve the visibility of our training courses, to facilitate the career choices of young people and their families", says Alexandre de Navailles, CEO of KEDGE. He adds: "We are proud to defend, alongside the FESIC, a non-profit educational model, in the service of the quality of the French higher education and research ecosystem".

Public interest group (EESPIG)

The qualification of private higher education establishment of general interest (EESPIG), created by the law of July 22, 2013 (Fioraso law), is granted to non-profit establishments only, by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Through a multi-year contract with the State, any establishment recognized as an EESPIG contributes to the public service missions of higher education and research, and receives a subsidy for this. They are regularly assessed and monitored by the Ministry and by the Haut Conseil de l'évaluation de la recherche et de l'enseignement supérieur (HCERES), in the same way as public institutions.

EESPIGs have been involved in the various reforms of the last five years (Parcoursup and CVEC, apprenticeship and vocational training, etc.). More recently, the French Research Programming Act recognized EESPIGs as public research operators (art. L112-2 of the Research Code).
