KEDGE graduate Anthony Janvier unites wine enthusiasts and entrepreneurs at the Bacchus Business Club
Anthony Janvier, kedger, passionate about wine and entrepreneurship, appointed Director of Bacchus Business Club
After completing a Master's degree in Media & Entertainment at Kedge BS, I went straight into the world of sport and entertainment. My professional career began with an internship at Olympique Lyonnais.
🚀 I then joined TF1 Publicité for a work-study placement in the Media team to develop advertising campaigns for film, series and video game producers/studios. I wanted to return to my first love by joining Paris Saint-Germain Handball, where I developed the club's sponsorship revenues for over 3 seasons.
For professional and personal reasons, I decided to move to Bordeaux and was given the opportunity to join the Bacchus Business Club. Initially to develop the network on a national level, and more recently to manage it.
✨ Bacchus Business Club: connect with the business elite
The Bacchus Business Club is a club for business leaders created in 2021 that brings together nearly 300 decision-makers every month.
It's the club that unites entrepreneurs around one passion: taste. A taste for wine, gastronomy and entrepreneurship.
A network of passionate, committed and influential players where ideas meet, exchange and taste. Enriching moments, during exceptional dinners, with the presence of guests of honor (Frédéric Mazzella, Rami Baitieh, Marco Landi, Thomas Derichebourg....).
🚀 The impact of the KEDGE Alumni network
Kedge has been a career gas pedal thanks to the alumni network. I took full advantage of the network by meeting and canvassing alumni with many responsibilities.
In fact, it was exchanges with a Kedge alumnus, Maryline Cabane (currently at the FFF), that convinced me to try my luck in the sports world. The inspiring career paths and availability of the network enabled me to develop my skills and meet the right people.
🤝 Strategy, public relations and networking: at the heart of the Bacchus Business Club ecosystem
My mission is to oversee the club's entire ecosystem: events, communications, marketing, sales...
I also build the club's strategy in collaboration with the founder, so that we can constantly reinvent ourselves. We organize 42 events a year for a demanding target group, where every detail counts. My job is to create the right conditions for people to meet, exchange ideas and do business.
It's a Public Relations job that enables me to meet executives from all sectors of activity, with very different profiles and different company sizes (from CAC 40 companies to start-ups). Every day, I make sure that our managers can meet potential partners who will enable them to grow faster.
👨🎓"Cultivate your network and invest early "
Professionalize yourself as early as possible by joining a work-study program. It's a real career gas pedal, and we learn a lot on the job. It allows us to apply all the knowledge we've acquired during our studies.
I'd also advise you to prepare your entry into professional life as early as possible by talking to alumni🤝
This will enable you to gather feedback on your experiences, which will be crucial in confirming that you're on the right track. These are also people with a well-developed network who can help you.
Kedge's number 1 argument is the strength of its network, and cultivating your network is a daily mission. 🎓
