KEDGE graduate appointed Chief Operating Officer of Fnac
At the beginning of February, the Fnac Darty group announced the appointment of Mehdi Dahmani (Exec MBA KEDGE graduate) as Fnac's Chief Operating Officer.

As of February 20, 2023, Mehdi Dahmani, 55, will be responsible for the management and development of Fnac's integrated store network, as well as the commercial leadership of Fnac's integrated and franchised stores in France, alongside the Regional Sales Directors.

 

Since 2017 and until now, Mehdi Dahmani held the position of Director of After-Sales Operations & Omnichannel Logistics Fnac Darty. Mehdi Dahmani will report to François Gazuit, Operations Director.

 

A graduate of KEDGE Business School's Executive MBA program, Mehdi began his career with a succession of operational positions in stores, including Darty store management and Leroy Merlin area manager. In 2000, he joined Dixons UK as PC City France Operations Director, in charge of PC World store opening projects in France, then European Director of Dixons reverse logistics. In 2007, he joined the PPR Group as Operations and Website Director for Surcouf, then Home Services Director for Fnac. In 2012, he broadened his responsibilities as Fnac Quality and Store Operations Director, before expanding his scope again as Fnac After-Sales and 2nd Life Operations Director. Since 2017, he has been Director of After-Sales Operations & Omnichannel Logistics Fnac Darty.

 

During his career, Mehdi has led several large-scale transformation and change management projects such as store openings, business relaunch, simplification and digitization of omnichannel logistics operations (DiaLog project), Fnac Darty SAV synergies, particularly on integration, organization, transformation and modernization projects for Fnac Darty SAV.

 

Mehdi Dahmani's solid operational experience in retail, the expertise he has acquired throughout his career, and his perfect knowledge of the Group and its challenges, will enable him to continue to manage and develop the Fnac store network, and support the Group's ambitions.
