Rym Ben Hassine, co-founder of Orakle Weather, has built her career on a solid foundation of expertise and passion. After starting out in quantitative sciences and management, she chose to join the Master in Risk Management at KEDGE Business School Bordeaux. This training enabled her to develop a strategic and operational vision of risk-related issues.
During her years at KEDGE, Rym worked on collaborative projects where innovation and creativity were at the forefront, an experience that confirmed her entrepreneurial ambition. "Since the age of 12, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur", she confides.
 
  
💪 Orakle Weather: innovation for climate risk management
Orakle Weather is a pioneer in climate risk management. Its flagship product? Innovative weather insurance, the only one of its kind in Europe, which automatically indemnifies customers in the event of bad weather, based on forecasts and actual weather conditions.
Using AI-based technology developed in collaboration with climatologists, Orakle Weather accurately assesses weather-related risks worldwide. This solution, designed to simplify the lives of policyholders, requires no claims declaration.
Rym plays a key role in this adventure:
- Technological development: creation of the API to integrate insurance with partner platforms.
- Sales: prospecting, negotiating and signing contracts, mainly with the tourism industry.
- Multi-area management: from strategy to legal aspects, including human resources.
🚀 Ambitious vision for the future
Orakle Weather isn't stopping there. The start-up is looking to a future marked by innovation and growth:
- Sales: strengthen its presence in France, particularly with outdoor activities and tourist stays.
- R&D: develop a seasonal precipitation forecasting model for a unique competitive advantage.
