Zoom on Alexis Valero, KEDGE graduate and co-founder of Rzilient
A graduate of KEDGE's Grande Ecole Programme (Class of 2013), Alexis co-founded Rzilient, an all-in-one IT management platform for small- and medium-sized businesses.
After studying at KEDGE and obtaining a master's degree in marketing and strategy, Alexis had several significant experiences in implementing expansion and innovation strategies, and brand projects (Rakuten, Netflix, Spotify, Dailymotion).
I have great memories of my years at KEDGE 💬
I followed the PGE, with a focus on business, strategy and marketing. I put this to good use with my involvement in the BDS, and more generally in student life, which I really enjoyed. I also had the opportunity to do a lot of traveling, thanks to university exchanges.
The school enabled me to develop a whole range of soft skills, thanks to which I was able to meet a lot of people, join networks that would have remained out of my reach without this knowledge, and helped me create the Rzilient project.
Step out of your comfort zone to try things out, and learn from your mistakes, it's normal to make them. My years at Kedge were some of the best of my life: so above all, enjoy them!
In 2020, together with long-time friend Quentin, they realized that iT is complex, expensive and generates a whole host of negative externalities on the environment and on the productivity of organizations. So they decided to embark on an impact-based entrepreneurial adventure, first creating rzilient Agency, a sustainable innovation agency, to help companies determine and address their sustainability objectives. The company then evolved into Rzilient, an all-in-one IT management solution for SMEs and iT professionals.

Rzilient is the all-in-one IT management platform for small and medium-sized businesses. It enables simple, automated, secure and sustainable iT asset management: from iT subject management via a single interface, through flexible procurement proposals (purchase or leasing, new or refurbished), to operational capabilities accessible in just a few clicks.
The added value for companies is the extension of the lifespan of their IT assets, thanks to intelligent performance monitoring, the deployment of predictive maintenance and the management of end-of-life assets to save time, euros and carbon.
This differentiated offering gives SMEs access to a next-generation solution that enables them to carry out their digital transformation efficiently and responsibly.
Alexis, can you tell us a little more about that? 🤗
In its first year of operation, Rzilient experienced exceptional growth and succeeded in structuring itself efficiently to best meet the needs of a buoyant and enthusiastic market as quickly as possible. One year after its creation in February 2020, we officially launched our platform and started to win customers. Rzilient has closed its first round of financing at 1.2 million euros, and is preparing a second round with Tudigo. The team has grown from 4 to 30 people, divided between the Paris and Barcelona offices. At the beginning of 2022, we decided to extend our activities to the Spanish market. Great strides marked by a whole host of small successes!
Development of the platform has accelerated steadily since its launch, with new features regularly announced. The latest of these is the iT Room - an intelligent IT forecasting and management tool enabling anyone to anticipate the state of health of their IT assets and determine the actions to be taken to optimize their performance. The iT Room also visualizes the environmental impact of IT.
Technologically, the future of our SaaS platform will be to form building blocks that can be easily connected and adapted to the various HR, accounting and other software packages already in use in companies. Of course, we'll be working on strengthening our iT Room to give it an AI dimension. A process for predicting and automating actions and optimizations that will therefore be enriched and become the key tool for simpler, less expensive and less carbon-intensive iT management.
We have made our offerings modular, and tailored them to our customers and their needs, and intend to continue differentiating ourselves from our competitors by offering a full range of services with our platform, and a customer experience as close as possible to their needs. Our goal? To be the essential all-in-one IT management solution for businesses, a true next-generation iT partner!
