From KEDGE to Procter & Gamble, discover the career of Florent Bastien, kedger and Regional Sales Manager at Procter & Gamble.
From her beginnings as a trainee to managing a regional team, a look back at a career guided by business and the desire to evolve.
During his training at KEDGE, Florent developed key skills: work capacity, adaptability and team spirit. A course in negotiation, in particular, marked his professional orientation.
After an internship with Pernod in mass distribution, he joined Procter & Gamble directly as Sales Development Manager (Area Manager) in Besançon.
A gradual move into management
His early experience enabled him to develop rigor, autonomy and a desire to surpass himself, which led him to move rapidly into head office positions as Account Executive, then into category management for the Gillette brand.
As his assignments progressed, working with multi-disciplinary teams (finance, logistics, marketing, trade marketing) became a common thread running through his career. Today, he supervises a sales team, with a variety of profiles that he helps to develop.
Her challenges at Procter & Gamble
As Regional Sales Manager, Florent has two main objectives:
- Develop the business: sales and market share of P&G brands, by working on the presence, visibility and promotion of products in stores.
- Support his team: train new arrivals in sales techniques and support experienced sales staff to maintain their commitment and motivation.

Florent encourages students to go into the business world:
