A KEDGE graduate has been appointed Manager of Government and Public Affairs Europe at the Methanol Institute
The Methanol Institute has welcomed Rafik Ammar (Class of 2019) as Manager of Government and Public Affairs Europe. His job will be focused on energy policies, in particular those related to the methanol sector.

At Methanol Institute, Rafik Ammar will apply his expertise of the European legislative process to support the association's government relations strategy in Europe, leading stakeholder engagements to effectively share the methanol sector's perspectives with policymakers.

Before joining the Methanol Institute, Rafik Ammar held a number of positions in European institutions. He supported transport-related policy work in the European Parliament. As coordinator of inter-institutional relations at the Secretariat General of the European Commission, he oversaw relations between the European Commission and the Council. Rafik Ammar is a graduate of the École Nationale d'Administration in France and holds an MSc in Business Engineering from KEDGE Business School.
